Jeff will be performing in San Francisco on November 8th at The St. Francis Hotel for a Tiffany's event with Anna Wilson and Monty Powell.
On October 29th and November 5th Jeff will be performing with his trio at The Tangled Vine from 8-11PM. The wine bar is located on the SW corner of Amsterdam.
Jeff will be performing with Sariah on November 19th at The Cutting Room at 10PM. He is also excited about her upcoming Christmas CD. Dave Eggar is featured on Jeff's arrangements and he co-wrote two Chirstmas songs.
Jeff's song "Nel Buio Dentro Me" which he co-wrote with Lindy Robbins and Marco Maringelli will be recorded by HongKong's best selling artist Jacky Cheung.
He is also excited that Graziella from Hamburg, Germany was recently signed to Columbia Records and Jeff has co-written most of the songs.

Jeff recently was up in Montreal recording his CD and DVD at The Oscar Peterson Hall and is planning on releasing it this coming fall. Yamaha is sponsoring the project and he very excited to have performed on their Yamaha CFX Piano.
Jeff will be performing at the Bethesda Blues Festival in Bethesda, Maryland on September 28th with Joe Taylor and Artoro Sandavol.
Jeff will be back in Houston at Cezanne on October 4th and will be conducting songwriting and performance workshops.
On October 25th Jeff will be performing with Sariah at The Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. He currently arranged 8 songs including two originals and performed on her upcoming Christmas EP.
Jeff was in Nashville last June to record Anna Wilson's upcoming CD and co-wrote two of her songs
Jeff is still featured at The Tangled Vine in NYC at 81st and Amsterdam with his jazz trio and will be performing there August 13th, September 10th and 24th.
Jeff and Sariah will be at The Hard Rock Cafe at Foxwoods on Friday, June 28th.
Jeff will be performing solo piano at Cafe Vivaldi in NYC on Saturday, May 11th from 7:30-8:30. It's a wonderful intimate club in the west village.

The Napa Valley Wine Auction will take place on Saturday, June 1st and Jeff will be performing with Billy Dean, Anna Wilson and Monty Powell.
Jeff celebrated his 1 year anniversary in early March performing with his jazz trio at The Tangled Vine. It is located on the SW corner of 81st and Amsterdam. He performs there every Tuesday from 8-11PM.
Jeff's song "Conclusions" was used in a TV ad for the football team Juventus. It is from his recent solo piano CD from FirstCom music library. Jeff's song Not Gonna Say Goodbye is his 6th single in South Africa in the last two years and is climbing up the charts. It will also be featured in the new feature film called Red Wing. Elva Hsiao will be recording one of Jeff's songs in HongKong.
Jeff is excited to be recording a solo piano CD this June in Montreal on a CFX Yamaha piano at Oscar Peterson Hall. Jeff is now a Yamaha artist.
Jeff's song Wake Up Dreaming by Mark Haze just peaked at #1 on the South Africa top 40 chart. His song Not Gonna Say Goodbye will be released as a single in February by Elvis Blue in South Africa.
Jeff just completed a solo piano CD for FirstCom Music Music which will be released this coming February.
Jeff is headed out to LA to conduct a songwriting master class at CalArts. He will be writing with Ty Lacy, Pam Sheyne, Richard Harris and Melanie Fontana.

UMPG songwriter and composer, Jeff Franzel, has been experiencing great international success. He recently celebrated two No. 1 singles in South Africa with "Lighthouse" and “Save Me” by Pop Idol artist Elvis Blue, who recently won the award for Best Adult Contemporary CD at the South African Music Awards. Jeff and Elvis also claimed the most performed radio song of the year in South Africa, with Jeff’s smash hit “Lifeline.” He is currently working on Elvis Blue’s next two singles for his latest album, which he plans to release internationally. Another Pop Idol alum and 2012 finalist, Mark Haze, recently recorded Jeff's song “Wake Up Dreaming,” which is set to be released this month, and the song titled "Strong," which Jeff co-wrote, was recently performed by the world-renowned Greek tenor, Mario Frangoulis.
Jeff’s success continues in Asia, topping the chart yet again with the No. 1 single in Hong Kong, G.E.M.’s "Someday I'll Fly." Up next, two of Jeff’s songs are set to be recorded by one of Hong Kong's top-selling artists, Jacky Cheung, for his upcoming album. One of the songs shares a co-writing credit with Lindy Robbins. Jeff has also been working with revered Turkish Muslim philosopher Fethullah Gülen and representing the U.S. by adapting one of his poems into a song. The song, "Dreams," which Jeff produced and co-wrote with Ryan Shaw, will be featured on the album, September 12th - The Day After. Up next, Misia, one of Japan’s biggest selling artists, will be recording Jeff’s Christmas song "I Found Love," which will be released for the holidays.
The artistic accomplishments of Jeff Franzel don’t stop there, as he recently secured a debut in the Top 10 on iTunes with "Change," a single from artist Alex York, which Jeff co-wrote with Alex. Further credits and collaborations include his song "Save Me," which was recently recorded by The Osmonds for their album set to be released this September; and Kevin Ahart's upcoming album on which Jeff co-wrote five songs and arranged two covers for the Phil Ramone sessions. With new representation from Yamaha, a recent performance at the Snowbasin Jazz Festival with his jazz quintet, and a recorded DVD set for release, Jeff Franzel’s success shows no sign of slowing down.

The Jeff Franzel Trio is performing every Tuesday at The Tangled Vine which is located at 434 Amsterdam (81st and Amsterdam) from 7-10. Jeff has been performing there since March.
On July 19th Jeff will be performing at the Snowbasin Jazz Festival outside of Park City. He will be recording a live DVD with The Countrypolitan Duets project as well as his Jazz Quintet. He will also be performing with Sean Simith.
Elvis Blue's CD won best adult contemporary CD in their Sama awards (South Africa) and "Save Me" and "Lighthouse" both were top 5 radio singles. Elvis is in the studio now recording 4 of Jeff's songs.
Mark Haze who recently was a finalist for the 2012 pop idol awards recorded Jeff's song Wake Up Dreaming.
Jeff's song "Someday I'll Fly" reached #1 on the Hong Kong radio charts last month. The artist is G.E.M. and her CD will be released in June.
Jeff will be celebrating his CD release party at The Metropolitan Room on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7:30PM. The address is 34 W 22nd St. between 5th and 6th Ave. He will be featuring his original songs from Taken By Surprise.

The CD is being released on April 5th and Jeff arranged country standards in a jazz style. Anna Wilson sang a number of duets featuring Keith Urban, The Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Larry Carlton and Ray Price. Jeff will also be performing at Joe's Pub on April 27th with Anna Wilson who will be opening for Canadian artist Matt Dusk. He will also be featured with Anna Wilson and Monty Powell on the same day for a CBS radio performance.

Jeff will be performing at the Grand Ole Opry on November 16th and will featuring Anna Wilson. She will be performing duets with Larry Carlton, Matt Giraud, Connie Smith and Billy Dean. Jeff is the musical director for the project which also features Keith Urban, The Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, and Kenny Rogers. He helped arrange country standards in a jazz style.
Jeff Franzel will be opening for Livingston Taylor on September 6th at the Shalin-liu performance center in Rockport, MA, accompanying Ayla Brown. He will also be featured with the Jake Pardee trio. Ayla will be singing Jeff's song My Favorite Part which will be her first single to be released this fall.
